Your information
Participation, with context.
XZ keeps the information you share connected to its purpose: joining the community, recording activity and reviewing recognition.
Joining XZ
The waitlist collects your email, optional interest and permission to contact you about early access. Member accounts use an email sign-in code, a profile and your selected interests. Session cookies keep you signed in. A language preference cookie remembers the language you select.
Pilot conditions and demo consent
The pilot is for people aged 19 and older. When you join, XZ records that you confirmed your age and agreed that your XZ screens, including your posts and country, may be shown to investors in demonstrations. XZ does not collect your date of birth. You can withdraw demo consent in settings at any time; operators see the current status and the change is recorded.
What other members see
Published XZ posts, your profile and comments are visible to invited members. Drafts, your point balance, Instagram library and private activity evidence are not part of the community feed. XZ operators review submitted evidence, reports and recognition records.
Your country
Your country is optional and private by default. If you choose to show it, only members you follow and who follow you back can see it. Changing it notifies no one, and each change is recorded for operators.
Connecting Instagram
You choose whether to connect a professional account. XZ uses that permission to show your posts privately and publish content you explicitly submit for publishing. Existing posts do not receive retroactive points. Disconnecting stops future use of the connection; it does not delete posts already published on Instagram.
For a connected Instagram professional account, XZ keeps the account ID and username, an encrypted access token, and the media and captions it imports from that account.
Track an Instagram data deletion request
A received request and a completed deletion are separate states. Activity evidence and recognition records require review before a request can be marked complete.
Activity records and recommendations
Submissions keep the evidence and recognition rule used at review time. Corrections are added as new entries so that the record explains what changed. Recommendations use your interests, recent activity, follows and member controls. Points do not affect your feed ranking.
How long information is kept
XZ keeps each kind of information only for the period below. The XZ operator carries out the deletion, de-identification and removal of visit records within each period. During the pilot, the operator does this by hand; it is not automated. You can clear your country at any time.
- Profile, country and Instagram connection details: deleted without delay after you leave XZ.
- Activity submissions and photos, including originals and the copies made for the feed: deleted when you leave XZ.
- Review decisions and the points ledger: kept for one year after you leave to handle misuse and disputes, then de-identified rather than deleted, so they can no longer be linked to you.
- Investor demo consent and withdrawal history: kept for one year after you withdraw. Your screens stop appearing in demos as soon as you withdraw.
- Records of the days you opened the app: deleted within six months after the pilot ends.
Service providers
XZ is designed to use Supabase for authentication, database and private file storage, Netlify for hosting and Meta for the Instagram features you enable. Media used to present XZ is separate from your private activity evidence.
Market prices come from the CoinGecko API, the property of CoinGecko. XZ's server requests them, so the Market tab sends none of your account or device information to CoinGecko. The "Powered by CoinGecko" link opens CoinGecko's own site, where CoinGecko's privacy policy applies.
